The WISE Annual Seminar 2024, held on December 4, was a landmark event that brought together the WISE Ecosystem face to face for the first time. The seminar was an opportunity for the ecosystem to network, gain new insights and ideate around potential collaboration topics.
The seminar featured several interesting keynote speeches and presentations. Anders Lindberg, President, Wärtsilä Energy and EVP, Wärtsilä presented Wärtsilä Energy to the ecosystem and highlighted the need for collaboration to achieve the energy transition.
“The WISE collaboration is essential as we face the climate challenges and strive to create a sustainable world for future generations. By combining our expertise, resources, and innovative ideas, I am confident that we can together accelerate the development and implementation of renewable energy solutions,” Anders said during his opening speech.

The event furthermore hosted a keynote speech on the topic of Servitization from Professor Ali Z. Bigdeli, Professor of Industrial Service Innovation & Co-Director of the Advanced Services Group, Aston University, and Maciej Mikulski, Professor at University of Vaasa presented the newly launched WISE project iHAPC.
